Kissa Pure in Hon-Komagome offers a relaxed setting with affordable kissaten fare, from morning toast with fried eggs to hamburg steak with rice and classic omurice.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Toast, salad, and freshly cooked fried eggs arrive together on the morning table. Set in a residential pocket of Hon-Komagome, Kissa Pure’s morning set pairs these staples with freshly brewed coffee, tea, or milk for an easy start to the day. Welcomed by unpretentious, warm service, solo diners can comfortably settle into a seat on their own.
Come lunchtime or whenever you need a more substantial meal, the cafe offers a satisfying lineup of classic kissaten comfort dishes. Options range from hamburg steak served with rice and nostalgic omurice to curry rice, pilaf, and spaghetti such as meat sauce or Neapolitan, available as single items or sets at budget-friendly prices. For lighter bites, the kitchen also prepares pizza toast, tuna toast, and an assortment of sandwiches.
After eating or during an afternoon break, you can unwind in the vintage cafe surroundings over a cake set, lemon squash, or iced cafe au lait. Note that payment is cash-only, so having notes or coins on hand is recommended before your visit.
